Excel Sheeting Pathways

For the module ‘Political Ecologies’ in the third year of my BA Curating course, I Excel-sheeted the experience of the Goldsmiths campus through my body. For this Excel-sheeting exercise, I made line drawings of normal pathways and the monster pathways. Monster pathway, over here, means a pathway that is othered, a pathway for othered people. Along with the line drawings, I reflected on the bodily experiences of walking through each pathway and recorded step counts, doorways, and other details that lead to openings and closures of spaces.
